Scones

One of the reasons I decided to get my real estate license was so that I could plan my own schedule, make more time for my family and enjoy life a little more. I typically work from home in Wednesdays so that I can take my Brown Eyed Girl to school at least one day a week. I really wanted to be more in touch with her teachers this year and have a better idea of what was happening at her school and in the class room.

It has also given me the opportunity to have some one-on-one time with Mr Blue Eyes. Being my own boss has given me the opportunity to have impromptu breakfast dates with my little blue-eyed boy like I did yesterday.

We swung by Starbucks, ordered up a coffee and a cup of oatmeal for myself and a couple of scones for my handsome date.

We picked a place on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful, mild, fall morning. 

The best part of sitting outside, across the parking lot from Home Depot, were all of the "really BIG trucks" that go by in the morning. Many of which were pulling "twailers" of course.
