For the first official party of the year, the Halloween Party, I was slow out of the gate to volunteer to be the "Planning Mom." I still volunteered to help decorate and provide the craft during the party.
I called up my best gal, Pinterest, and found a super easy and cute ghost craft for the kids to complete.
I was really excited. A sense of pride as I gathered and organized my materials.
Dropped my little Ghostbuster off at school, enjoyed the costume parade in the morning and then came back at noon to start decorating for the party.
The Planning Mom had a ton of stuff. A couple other moms were already there getting started. As I looked around the room at all of the cute decorations and treats...
Oh My Lanta!!!
This party... these parents are Professional Pinterest Pinners.
Healthy Banana Ghosts...
of course!
Pumpkin Oranges...
you bet!
I guess I am not surprised. I am pretty sure these are Halloween Pinterest staples.
But then I started to feel a little upstaged

I can appreciate his use of purple, dark chocolate, Hershy Kisses for the fingernails. Big points with my Purple Princess THE Tangled. And they were delicious. The popcorn drizzled in white chocolate. Yep, white chocolate covered popcorn. A whole new food group that I am adding to my sinful pleasures list!
The Planning Mom made these...
She Nailed It! Right down to finding the exact same ribbon and googlie-eyes.
But the Blue Ribbon winner was by far the shredded wheat scarecrows.
I also like her choice of candy corn nose change.
Did I mention I volunteered to be the Christmas Party Planning Mom?
Since the Halloween Party I have been Pinning diligently. I have been searching for that one unique item to wow these Triple-P ladies (and gents) in December.
I am thinking I might even need to hold a dress rehearsal, dry run, what have you to make sure that this Christmas Party is a stunner.
The bar has been set high my friends.
Very. High.
If I don't write another post until January it's because I am Pinning, practicing and perfecting.
