The venue is set. Complete with pine alter and Anne of Green Gables filling in as my Brown Eyed Girls "Bible Book."
Flower girl has already made her way down the isle.
I have just been notified that I have to fill in as the Ring Bearer and officiate the wedding this morning. I am feeling a little pressure. Thank goodness more coffee is brewing.
The guests have all arrived and taken their seats. The Bride arrives looking glorious. A beautiful dress. Veil. Simply beautiful.
I am then notified I also need to fill in as the choir and sing that "wedding song" for the bride. She is getting a little demanding - not quite a bridezilla yet. It's a good thing I am a multitask-er.
The blushing bride makes her way down the isle. She is radiant! Glowing!
And wouldn't you know, that one guest (obviously the delinquent friend of the groom from college) has to make a scene as the wedding is just getting started.
Some guests aren't sure what to do or say. The bride starts to panic. The Flower Girls petals are getting ruined.
And there she is! Bridzilla.
And after a few stern looks and shouting, fear overwhelms that crazy guy and he takes his seat like a good guest. The reception is going to be wild, I can already tell.
We begin again and the bride desires a groom. So Mr Blue Eyes changes roles to play Eugine, her handsome groom.
Their vows are exchanged. Rings are exchanged and then it's time to kiss the bride. I now pronounce them Hailey and Eugine.
Wowzer!
I am pretty sure Colorado isn't one of "those" states. I should probably start a savings account now for the traumatic effects this might have on Mr Blue Eyes in the future.
A beautiful morning for a 7:00 am wedding!
