Can't Get Enough

The Swing
How do you like to go up in a swing?
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown -
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

~ Robert Louis Stevenson - 1850-1894

Even as the wind blows out on the prairie, our Brown Eyed Girl begged for me to push her on the swing when we got home. How can you resist those big brown eyes? Especially when she tells you, "Mommy, Colie told me he wanted to swing too."

He did huh?

Well since he wants to... Let's go!

Look at that handsome little boy!

I want to Indian-leg-wrestle him for those eyelashes. I think I could win!

He looks scared in the picture. He wasn't. He was having a ball.

Look how dirty the tops of his socks are from crawling around all day long.

Our Brown Eyed Girl is so happy!

Soaring through the air.

The sun on her back.

The wind in her...

...the wind blowing...

... the hair in her eyes.

"It's a little windy. You want to go inside?"

"Nope. Push me bigger."

Love that girl!

I am blessed!
