This morning as I stopped by the gas station to fill-er-up I left having chest pains.
$3.789 for a gallon of gas. $3.789 for a gallon of regular, nothing fancy, have-to-have-it or I will be stranded-on-the-side-of-the-road gas.
First of all, why do they list gas prices as $3.789?
Just call it what it is - $3.79. Do they think that .001 cent is really going to make me feel any better about the cost of gas these days? Give it to me straight people.
Secondly, does the $75.00 automatic cut-off annoy anyone else??? I mean anyone who drives anything larger than a ten-speed can't fill a tank off $75.00. I know you can re-swipe your card. However by the time I get cut off at $75.00, I am too annoyed to replace the nozzle, swipe my card, enter my payment choice, enter my zip code and wait for the attendant to turn me on once again.
So this morning, I paid an annoying $3.789 for less than 20 gallons of gas. I was cut off at $75.00.
And I didn't even get a full tank.
Double annoying.
