What is "Brave Hair" you might ask.
It is this...

It is wild and fiery red hair. Curly and unruly.
Our Brown Eyed Girl, aka Purple Princess THE Tangled, has traded wanting long, golden Rapunzel locks for crazy, red hair. Her new obsession - "Brave Hair."
She is absolutely in love with the new Disney movie Brave. She received the movie for Christmas and has watched it 12154616546 times so far.
She is so obsessed with this new movie that for her birthday she wants this...

She wants to be just like Merida and shoot a bow.
Handy Man is dreaming of the day when she can be his future bow hunting partner. Though I am not quite sure how good she would do in a tree stand. Where you have to be silent. For hours. Waiting.
Last night after her bath, my Brown Eyed Girl begged me to give her "Brave Hair." Probably the only time I can think of when crazy, fiery red hair is the rave.
We sat down and she let me braid her hair. I was in heaven! Braiding my daughter's hair. She never sits still long enough for me to braid her hair or do anything creative with it. I took full advantage of the opportunity and gave her three french braids.
They weren't perfect. I am a little rusty.
But I thought they would do the trick. She was so excited.
So excited in fact, at 5:45 am this morning she was ready for me to undo her braids so she could see her "Brave Hair."
Mommy did a great job.
She was more than giddy.
Look at the bags under those eyes...
She couldn't wait to show everyone at school her "Brave Hair."
She was so excited, I didn't even have to ask her twice to get dressed this morning. Or put on her shoes. Heck, she was the first one ready to walk out the door.
We shall have "Brave Hair" every day!
