Pinning In The New Year

Our family is closing on a new house TOMORROW! (more to come)

I can hardly wait. A new home offers so many new opportunities... opportunities for Pinning!!!

As if my obsession with Pinterest wasn't bad enough, in less than 24 hours I will be able to start creating rather than just pinning. I scroll through my boards every fifteen minutes daily. I am prioritizing and planning and preparing. 

I can hardly contain the excitement!

Once we move in there will be so much to do.

Painting.

Color pallets. Tips. Tricks of the trade.

I am ready! Hand me a roller. Pass me a brush.

I might even get brave and try some DIY painting projects like this.

Or creating something beautiful like this.

I am even prepared should my project go more like this...

I want my father-in-law to make me this.

I think this would be charming.

Our new house will be beautiful by the time I am done with it. Like this.

Minus the Siamese cat. 

And when I am done with the inside...

I am going to create masterpiece patio furniture out of old pallets.

I want a garden this year. Pretty flowers. 

I will get Handy Man to build this for the kids. 

Or maybe this one...

Either way, I will make them this. Because we now have a yard... a REAL yard with nice squishy grass!

This year, we will be organized.

And as our house comes together and becomes beautiful, we will actually try entertaining and having guests over. I will make you this...

and this...

and we will sip on these...

while we sit here, outside.

I better be careful about entertaining too much. Cooking too many new delicious things. Sipping too many wonderful drinks. But just in case... 

I have a plan.

And as life carries on a million miles a minute this year, I have to remember to laugh, love, play and capture every moment that takes my breath away.
